400g puff pastry
A third of a cup of shredded coconut
¼ cup toasted hazelnuts
¼ cup toasted walnuts
¼ cup raisins, soaked in water
¼ cup toasted pistachios
2 and half cups of milk
2 and a half cups heavy cream
A bit of cinnamon and powdered sugar
Place the dough in a baking tray and make a lot of holes in it with a fork (to prevent it from rising too much).
Place in oven preheated to 180 degrees until the dough is golden brown and crisp.
Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
In a Double-bottomed saucepan put the milk, cream, butter, cinnamon stick and vanilla bean (cut lengthwise) and bring to a boil.
When the mixture is boiling remove from heat and set aside.
Tear the pieces of pastry randomly to pieces 3-5 cm in size and place them in a deep bowl.
Add the coconut, various nuts and raisins.
Pour over the milk mixture, the mixture should cover all pieces of pastry almost to the end.
Put pan in the oven preheated to 250 degrees for 10-15 minutes until golden.
Remove sprinkle with powdered sugar and a little cinnamon.
The dessert is eaten hot!
