For the cigars
100g dark chocolate
50g caster sugar
1 tbsp honey
4 sheets filo pastry
100g butter, melted
icing sugar for dusting
For the syrup
4 tbsp honey
25g caster sugar
1 tbsp rose water
For the cigars: Whiz together the nuts, chocolate and sugar in a food processor, then add the honey.
Cut each sheet of pastry into four, brush with melted butter, then put a tablespoon of the nut mixture on the end of each piece, roll up like cigars and place on a baking sheet.
Brush with more butter, then bake at 180C for 20 minutes or until brown and crisp. When done, remove and stack on a plate, and pour over the syrup.
To make the syrup put all the ingredients in a small pan, heat until the sugar is melted, and simmer for ten minutes or so until thickened. Dust with icing sugar to serve.
